Daridra Narayan Vidyapeetha, Alati (Keonjhar) marked the second day of its grand three-day Platinum Jubilee celebrations with great enthusiasm, pride, and community participation. The historic institution, which has completed 75 remarkable years of service in education and social upliftment, witnessed an inspiring gathering of distinguished guests, alumni, and well-wishers.

On the second day, Mr. Prithivraj Harichandan, Hon’ble Minister of Law, Works & Excise, Government of Odisha, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. His presence added prestige to the celebration.
The programme was further enriched by the presence of Hon’ble Keonjhar MP Mr. Ananta Nayak, while renowned academician Prof. Dash Benhur attended as the Chief Speaker. Prominent dignitaries including former Ghasipura MLA & former Minister Sri Niranjan Pattnaik, DEO Purna Chandra Bariha, Sarpanch Er. Priyabrat Baral, Headmaster Shri Surendra Jena, and several other eminent personalities were also present.
Speakers highlighted the Vidyapeetha’s exceptional contribution to rural education, social development, and community empowerment over the past seven and a half decades. Cultural performances, emotional alumni interactions, and commemorative segments added splendour to the celebrations.
Former teachers and alumni were felicitated by the guests in recognition of their dedication and contributions. Mr. Prasan Nayak presented the introduction of dignitaries, while the programme was smoothly anchored by Ms. Madhumita Mohanty. The vote of thanks was delivered by Old Boys’ Association President Sri Ratikant Baral.
The second day of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations concluded with pride, nostalgia, and renewed commitment toward the institution’s bright future.
