Daridra Narayan Vidyapeetha, Alati (Keonjhar), concluded the third and final day of its grand three-day Platinum Jubilee celebrations with profound emotion, pride, and heartfelt nostalgia. As the institution marked 75 glorious years of shaping lives and uplifting rural education, the campus overflowed with memories, gratitude, and renewed hope for the future.
The concluding day was graced by Mr. Nityananda Gand, Hon’ble Minister of School & Mass Education and ST & SC Development, Government of Odisha, who attended as the Chief Guest, adding dignity and significance to the milestone occasion.

Renowned media personality and Chairman of the Sambad Group, Sri Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, joined as the Chief Speaker, inspiring the gathering with his words on the transformative power of education.
The presence of Old Boys’ Association President Pravat Baral, Headmaster Shri Surendra Jena, and many other distinguished guests heightened the emotional resonance of the celebration.
Speakers reflected on the Vidyapeetha’s unwavering commitment to rural education, social empowerment, and community upliftment over the last seven and a half decades. The day witnessed moving cultural presentations, emotional reunions between former students and teachers, and heartfelt moments that celebrated the institution’s deep-rooted legacy.
A special felicitation ceremony honoured veteran teachers and illustrious alumni for their dedication and contribution to the Vidyapeetha’s remarkable journey.
Mr. Bishnu Charan Samal warmly introduced the dignitaries, while Ms. Madhumita Mohanty conducted the programme with grace. The event concluded with a sincere vote of thanks delivered by Assistant Teacher Sujata Sutal.
As the Platinum Jubilee celebrations drew to a close, the air was filled with pride, nostalgia, and a renewed promise to carry forward the Vidyapeetha’s mission of education and service.
