Two eminent scientists from Bhubaneswar have been nominated to key national bodies of the Indian Society of Chemists and Biologists (ISCB), marking a significant recognition of their academic and research contributions.
Dr. Swagat Kumar Mohapatra, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Chemical Technology (IndianOil Odisha Campus), has been inducted as a Member of the National Executive Council of ISCB. His nomination reflects his sustained contributions to chemical sciences, research innovation, and academic leadership at the national level.
Dr. Chandana Mohanty, Associate Professor at KIIT Deemed to be University, has been nominated to the ISCB National Women’s Forum, a body dedicated to strengthening the participation, leadership, and visibility of women scientists across chemical and biological disciplines.
These nominations underscore ISCB’s commitment to recognizing excellence in research, teaching, and national-level engagement in the fields of chemistry and biology.
