Balasore, Jan 17 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): The Annual Function and Prize Distribution Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 was successfully held at Bagha Jatain Government High School, located at Odangi.
The programme was presided over by the Headmaster, Shri Satyaranjan Bhuyan. In his presidential address, he urged students not only to become good learners but also to grow into good human beings.
The Chief Guest of the occasion was Shri Gokul Krushna Behera, Principal of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Balasore Sadar. In his speech, he advised students to practise positive affirmation in every aspect of life, describing it as a key to success.
The Chief Speaker, Engineer Pradeep Kumar Mohanty, encouraged students to identify their areas of interest, pursue them with dedication, and strive for excellence.
Among other guests and speakers were Shri Haripada Bhuyan, Headmaster of Panchayat High School, Gopinathpur; former Headmaster Shri Pulin Chandra Ghosh; and Shri Jayant Kumar Biswal. All of them shared valuable guidance and motivational insights with the students.
Members of the School Management and Development Committee, including Shri Hadibandhu Parida, Shri Damodar Das, Shri Baburam Das, Shri Utsab Jena, and Shri Rabinarayan Panigrahi, were present at the general meeting.
The overall coordination of the programme was handled by the In-charge Headmaster, Shri Bikash Kumar Raul. Senior Assistant Teacher Smt. Madhusmita Raut introduced the guests. The annual report of the school was presented by the Sanskrit teacher, Shri Narendra Kumar Agasti, while Smt. Soumya Giri delivered the vote of thanks.
Other teachers, including Smt. Jharana Nayak, Smt. Rajashree Priyadarshini Raut, and Physical Education Teacher Shri Narayan Chandra Das, extended full cooperation to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.
Several eminent educationists and intellectuals attended the ceremony, adding to its significance. The Chief Guest, Chief Speaker, and Headmaster jointly distributed prizes to meritorious students, encouraging them to excel further.
