Baripada, December 8: Mayurbhanj Science Higher Secondary School, Maharajpur, celebrated its annual day at the school premises. The event was presided over by the school’s principal, Debasrita Biswal.
The chief guest, Dr. Prafulla Kumar Behera, a retired legal advisor to the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, and a son of Mayurbhanj, emphasized the importance of dedication and self-confidence in achieving success.
The chief speaker, former MLA Kishore Dash, urged students to stand up against wrong decisions and actions that harm society, while also focusing on their studies.
Sanghamitra Rout, Vice-Principal of Mayurbhanj College of Accountancy and Management, advised students to work hard to build a bright future.
The event also included the distribution of prizes to students who excelled in various sports and class competitions. The chief guest, chief speaker, and president were felicitated on the occasion.last year topper Tushar mohanta was also felicitated.
The programme concluded with a cultural event, which was managed by Gyanaranjan Panda, Head of the Law Department, and a vote of thanks was given by Sujata Pal, Head of the Education Department.
