The Kalinga Gaurav Foundation (KGF), in association with the Kalinga Gaurav Award Trust, is set to organise the 7th Mega Conclave & Media Awards Event on March 30, 2026, centred on the theme “Role of Women in Making a Viksit Bharat.”
As part of the event, KGF will felicitate 31 teachers, 13 NGO volunteers, and 25 women in recognition of their dedicated contributions to nation-building.
The Bhubaneswar-based socio-cultural organisation will host the conclave alongside the National Media Conclave and the 13th edition of the “I Woman of Substance Award 2026.” The event aims to bring together eminent leaders, celebrities, and intellectuals from across the country to deliberate on the pivotal role of women in nation-building and inclusive development.
Addressing a press conference on Saturday at 5:00 PM at the Conference Hall of Sushruta Hospital & Trauma Care, 15 Forest Park, Bhubaneswar, the organisation’s Secretary General, Dr. Chidatmika Khatua, said the conclave seeks to highlight the transformative role of women and promote meaningful dialogue on building an inclusive and developed India.
According to KGF sources, several eminent dignitaries and distinguished personalities from across the country have confirmed their participation. Notable among them are Odisha Legislative Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy, Rajya Sabha MP Manmohan Samal, BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Sambit Patra, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Naik, Director of Haryana Rural Development Institute Dr. Virender Singh Chauhan, senior BJP leader from West Bengal Vinay Kumar Mondal (BJM), and noted educationist and President of Lead India Foundation Dr. Hari Krishna Maram, who are expected to grace the occasion as honoured guests.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantaray, Chairman of the National Media Conclave, along with KGF President Rudranarayan Samantray and Convenor Dr. Rajanikant Mishra, appealed for cooperation from all stakeholders to make the event a grand success.
For the past several years, KGF has been actively engaged in charitable activities and women empowerment initiatives. The organisation regularly conducts award ceremonies, awareness programmes, and social initiatives to honour individuals and institutions for their contributions in fields such as social service, arts, culture, education, healthcare, and public service.
This year, the foundation has dedicated the conclave to the cause of women and society, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive growth and nation-building.
