Bhubaneswar, April 14 (Tuesday):
On the auspicious occasion of Odia New Year (Pana Sankranti) and Hanuman Jayanti, a meeting was organized by the Bhubaneswar branch of Hindu Ekta Manch at Bulan Bhai Seva Bhavan, Master Canteen.
The meeting was held under the সভাপতিত্ব (chairmanship) of State President Pradeepta Kumar Jena. During the program, lifetime member Arun Kumar Jena was felicitated with a certificate of appreciation and a ceremonial uttariya in recognition of his contributions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, all members partook in traditional pana and participated in a पदयात्रा (foot march) up to Shri Ram Mandir. The participants also appealed to all Odia brothers and sisters to celebrate the Odia New Year with joy, unity, and cultural pride.
