Noida, Dt:20.04.: The untimely demise of Sudipta Mohanty evoked unprecedented shock and widespread sorrow among the members of Odia community in Delhi and National Capital region. 54 years old Smt Mohanty died on Saturday 18th April 2026 at 8.15 a.m. in morning in a private hospital at Noida after Pneumonia illness. Her last rites were performed on the same day at Noida. She was the wife of Noida based noted Chartered accountant, Founder Chairman of ATD Group, President of Samudayik Vikas Samiti, Chief Patron of World Odisha Society’s UP Branch , Founder and former Secretary of Noida Jagannath Temple’s Management Committee, Dr Manoranjan Mohanty. Smt Mohanty has left her lone daughter Arni Mohanty.
Hundreds of friends, well wishers, family members, relatives and representatives of several socio-cultural organisations condoled her death and paid floral tribute on her mortal being. Smt Mohanty’s brother CPO of Manipal Hospital Partha Das, Sister in law Jasmine Das , Sister Swagata Pattanaik with her husband Anupam Pattanaik, Secretary Of Sree Neelachal Seva Sangha Ravinder Nath Pradhan, Chairman of World Odisha Society Kishore Dwibedi, Founder Of Odisha Positive Advocate Sanjib Kumar Mohanty, Chairperson of Vijayani Foundation Reeta Patra and BJP’s Noida District Vice-President Pramod Bhal deeply mourned her passing away and offered rich homage to her.
Late Sudipta Mohanty was a loving wife and caring mother. She will be remembered for her uncanny warmth, unusual kindness, gentle behaviour and soft nature. Smt Mohanty was born on 25th January 1972 at Sunhat in District Balasore of Odisha. Her parents were Sabita Das and Subrata Das.
Holder of a brilliant academic career, she did her graduation in FM College and passed out post graduation in philosophy from Vani Vihar,Utkal University with flying colours. She got married to the son of Late Pramilabala Mohanty and Late Gauranga Chandra Mohanty of village Bakharpur in Basudevpur of district Bhadrak, Manoranjan Mohanty on 6th December 1996.
Smt Sudipta Mohanty’s sudden departure has left an Irreplaceable void in the lives of grieving family members and relatives said her husband Dr Manoranjan Mohanty.”We will terribly miss her and cherish her sweet memories forever”, he added. Dr Mohanty expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of sympathy and condolences through personal visits, messages and prayers by people during this painful time
