New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Raurkela has bagged the top position among cities with a population of three lakh to ten lakh in the Swachh Vayu Sarvekshan 2026, conducted under the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP).In the category of cities with a population of less than three lakh, Kalinga Nagar ranked first, followed by Anugola in second place and Talacher in third.
The awards were presented by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) at an event held in New Delhi on Monday to mark Swachh Vayu Diwas 2026, observed alongside the International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies.
