A child health camp has been organized by the social organization Prashanthi Educational and Charitable Trust at the local Maharshi Public School, IRC Village, Nayapalli in collaboration with Manipal Hospital and Maharshi Public School, this child health camp was organized by experienced doctors and children’s eyes and teeth were examined and proper advice was also given regarding diet. In the presence of Heena Mohapatra, Principal of Maharshi Public School, about 150 children from LKG to Standard 3 were examined.

Under the direct supervision of Tapaswini Panda, Chairperson of Prashanthi Educational and Charitable Trust and eminent social worker, Manipal Hospital’s experienced Doctor Dr Jaya Sharma, Miss Surbhi Badek, dietician Mr. Mantu Patra, Miss Rastrarani Behera, Miss Ahana, the children were examined.
On this occasion, Tapaswini Panda said that our institution has been working on health awareness for a long time. So, such an event in the educational premises is definitely a good experience for the children. We also aim to organize such child health camps in other schools in the coming days. Nabakumar Das, Laxmi Kant Mishra, Kartik Chandra Barik and Ramesh Chaudhary were present on behalf of Prashanthi Educational and Charitable and conducted this health camp.
Local corporator Smt Mansirani Sundaray was present at this child health camp and thanked Hena Mohapatra, Principal of Maharshi Public School, Parents, local intellectuals and appreciated the organization of such a unique child health camp in the school premises.
