MP Balabhadra Majhi donates blood and spreads awareness about blood donation
The akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, the world’s largest blood donor organization, successfully organized the largest blood donation campaign in the country and abroad, the Mega Blood Donation Drive on September 17 2025, to commemorate its 61st foundation day and the birthday of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Numerous ministries of the Government of India are involved in this campaign. The Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, Nabarangpur a branch of the Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, successfully organized a blood donation camp at Chirayu Medical Store in Nabarangpur, where 66 people donated blood.
At this blood donation camp, Nabarangpur Lok Sabha MP Shri Balabhadra Majhi was the chief guest, while Nabarangpur MLA Gourishankar Majhi was the guest of honor. BJP Nabarangpur District President Shri Kunj Dash and Nabarangpur Chamber of commerce President Shri Manas Ranjan Dash were present. Dr. Sushant Satpathy, the Additional District medical officer of the Nabarangpur District Hospital, Dr. Ashok Kumar Karna, Municipal executive Officer, and other dignitaries encouraged the blood donors. Parishad President Deepak Jain welcomed all guests to the blood donation event. Lalit Jain and Tinu Jain presented bouquets to the MP and MLA. Under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0” initiative launched by the Prime Minister, the MP, MLA, and A.D.M.O were also presented with a tree each. President Deepak Jain and SECRETARY Shubham Jain welcomed Dr. Shaili Jain with a bouquet and thanked her for attending the event. The Mahila Mandal initiated the camp with Mangalacharan and NAMOKAR Mahamantra. Member of Parliament Shri Balabhadra MAJHI inaugurated the blood donation camp by donating blood , spreading awareness among all blood donors. Mahila Mandal President Bobby Jain and Shri Jain Shwetambar Terapanth Mahasabha member Laxmi Narayan Jain, Harish Jain, Sabita Jain with son Shubham Jain, and Vikash Kumar Agarwal also donated blood with their families, spreading awareness about blood donation in society. Gyanshala instructor Bindiya Jain, Mahila Mandal secretary Pooja Jain, former president Brijlata Jain, and member Saroj Jain with son Ankit Jain, donated blood. Shri Jain Shwetambar Terapanth Sabha Nabarangpur President Bikram Jain, who was in Bhubaneswar, participated in the festival by donating blood at Terapanth Bhavan, Bhubaneswar. All IDFC FIRST Bank employees donated blood. Lab technician Mr. Arun Swain, staff members Mr. Hemant Rout, Sambit Mishra, Kapil Bhatra, and other staff from the Nabarangpur District headquarter Hospital Blood Bank were present and provided necessary assistance to the blood donors. Mr. Naresh Jain honored the blood bank lab technician Mr. Arun Swain. The Terapanth Yuvak Parishad presented a special certificate and honored each donor, and refreshments were provided for all donors. The event was a success due to the joint efforts of Mr. Deepak Jain, President of the Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, Nabarangpur, secretary Mr. Shubham Jain, MBDD convenor Rachit Agarwal, and all the members. Secretary Shubham Jain informed that with him President Deepak Jain, Coordinator Rachit Agarwal, members Piyush Jain, Sumant Jain, Ankit Jain, Alok Modi, Ankesh Agarwal, Jitesh Agarwal, Vivek Agarwal, and all the members of the Parishad worked tirelessly to organize the event.
