Bhubaneswar: Law, Works, and Excise Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan on Wednesday launched the e-IB online application system for booking inspection bungalows (Dak bungalows) under the Works Department at Lok Seva Bhawan here.
The new digital platform aims to simplify and streamline the booking and allotment process of inspection bungalows. In its first phase, the system will cover bungalows located in Bhubaneswar, Puri and Konark.Speaking at the launch, Minister Harichandan said the initiative would make the booking process more transparent, accountable and user-friendly. He noted that the e-IB platform (https://eibworks.odisha.gov.in/eIB/) would help eliminate delays associated with the manual system and benefit both government officials and the general public. The minister also informed that the system would be implemented in phases across the state.The event was attended by Works Department Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh, EIC-cum-Special Secretary Er. Laxmi Kanta Padhi, Engineer-in-Chief (Civil-cum-Roads) Er. Satyabrata Behera, OBCC Managing Director Sameer Hota, Regional Officer of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Sunil Kumar, along with other senior departmental officers.
