Raipur, Oct 26:
A joint preparatory meeting of the Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Odisha units of Rashtriya Patrakar Mahasangha (RPM) was held through Google Meet to plan the celebration of National Press Day 2025.
The meeting was hosted by National Treasurer Shri Dhiraj Kumar and presided over by National President Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantaray.
It was unanimously decided to celebrate National Press Day on November 16, 2025, across the respective states — Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Odisha — as per local convenience and schedules.
National Organising Secretary Shri Sushil Sharma assured full support and coordination to all state and union territory organizers, including those from Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Jharkhand.
From Chhattisgarh, Zonal Coordinator Shri Santosh Kumar Yadu, along with Govind Kumar Ratre, Anil Bhat, and Pawan Baghel, actively participated in the discussion.
From Odisha, South Zone Coordinator Shri Bhanupratap Nayak, and team members Santosh Patra, Shimadri Rao, Manoj Kumar, and Deepak Kumar Sahu shared their views and suggestions.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Program Coordinator Shri Tahir Ahmad.
Participants pledged to make the National Press Day celebrations meaningful and impactful across their regions.
