
Sambalpur, 17/09: As part of the nationwide “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign, Sambalpur Division of East Coast Railway has launched a cleanliness drive from 17th September to 15th October 2025. A series of activities such as cleanliness drives in trains, door-to-door awareness campaigns, clean colony initiatives, Swachh food and clean water drives, as well as mass-scale cleanliness programs in railway stations and colonies will be organized on different days during the campaign.
During this occasion, Divisional Railway Manager, Sambalpur, Shri Subash C. Chaudhary administered the Swachhata Pledge to railway officers and staff at the DRM office complex on 17.09.2025.
During the campaign, a massive cleanliness drive led by Shri Subash C. Chaudhary, Divisional Railway Manager was organised at Sambalpur Railway Station premises on 17th September 2025. Shri Manjeet Singh Sansanwal, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, other Railway officers and staff also contributed Shramdan voluntarily.
As part of the drive, “Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivirs” and health camps will also be organized by different railway units on 18th September 2025, focusing on the welfare and safety of sanitation workers.
