Bookworm 2022 – BOOK DONATION DRIVE

A book donation drive was held as a part of the event Bookworm. A generous number of books for different age groups were donated by the students of Montessori to grade 2. These books were donated to the Government School at Thotada Guddadahalli to spread the joy of reading. Soundarya Educational Trust CEO, Mr. Keerthan Kumar and managing trustee Dr. Prathiksha Keerthan initiated the book donation. Mr. Keerthan addressed the students highlighting the importance of reading and encouraged them to take part in different games too. He also expressed that many such events to empower nearby government schools will be continued in the future. His speech in Kannada motivated the students and they promised to read and excel in their interests. The school staff and students expressed their gratitude to the management and parents who contributed books that are now a part of their school library. The objective of Bookworm 2022 was to inculcate reading in children, this was certainly fulfilled.
