Ten percent of the central budget should be allocated for education
Warangal:MLC Alugubelli Narsireddy demanded that 10 percent funds should be allocated for education in the central budget. Telangana Universit ies Employees & Workers Union CITU Telangana 2nd State Mahasabha Commer ce Seminar Hall started at Kakatiya University on Frida y. He demanded the central government to allocate fund s to the universities immedia tely and allocate funds acco rdingly in the coming period as the minimum wages of the employees working in the universities or due to nonimplementation of the labor laws.He called upon all the employees to make a united and harmonious strug gle for the protection of thei r rights in the coming period. He criticized the BJP govern ment in the country for incit ing discord between castes and religions and inciting re ligious hatred in a country that is united in diversity. Bhaskar said that the contr act outsourcing daily vice workers working in the universities should be regul arized and the ESI PF minim um wages should be impl emented to fill the vacant posts in the univer sities. He criticized the state governm ent for neglecting to allocate adequate staff for providing infrastructure facilities in the universities.
