HR Leadership Conclave by Assocham

The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) hosted the HR (Human Resource) Leadership Conclave and Awards 2023 at the New Marion Hotel, led by Assocham Patron Member and Chairman, MGM Minerals Pankaj Lochan Mohanty. The conclave’s inaugural session was attended by high dignitaries including Former Chief Secretary Bijay Patnaik, President, Vedanta Ltd. (Odisha, Chhattisgarh), Tapan Kumar Chand, Brig. Dr. Somnath Mishra, Former Vice Chancellor – Sikkim Manipal University, Prof. Mahadeo Jaishwal, Director, IIM Sambalpur, Prashant Hota, Group Head CSR Education Sustainability, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., MD, Ecosuite and Mentor & Advisor of ASSOCHAM, Pradeep Ranjan Chowdhury. The theme of the conclave was Next Generation Human Resources (HR), which highlighted the present and future of human resource management. According to the attendees, such workshops aim to provide a platform for industry partners to develop strategies to harden the true potential and meet the various challenges that businesses face in the current era. During the session, the guest highlighted the important aspects of HR in the industry, manpower for the industry, workforce management, digitalization, its impact on business, management skills, new technologies, and sustaining high growth in tandem with the changing trends. Similarly, the guest also emphasized on increasing investment in human resources in the trade sector. The guest expressed the hope that this workshop will contribute significantly to the development in the field of human resource management.
