Swami Vivekananda Jayanti as National Youth Day celebrated

: On the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day, Anandam Foundation organized events at two places.
Anandam Foundation celebrated the above event in association with Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1, Bhubaneswar. It started at 7:30 am with Vedic chants and wreaths. A group of students welcomed the guests with a very beautiful patriotic song. Mr. Manoj Das (General Secretary, Anandam Foundation), Mr. Aditya Kumar Panda (Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya 1), Mr. Jitendra Prasad Mishra (Teacher, Kendriya Vidyalaya 1), Ms. Shubhangi Upadhyay (Ph.D Researcher, Calcutta University) and Smt. Pranati Subuddhi (Hindi Teacher, Kendriya Vidyalaya 1) graced the occasion. Five promising children participated in the program and gave a tearful speech on Swami Vivekananda respectively Achalesh Mohanty, Shreyan Mishra, Krishna and Sushmita Nayak. Thereafter, Vidyarti Divyani presented a melodious song on Swami Vivekananda. Honorable Mr. Manoj Das, the chief speaker of the program, told the students the importance of meditation and also taught them to meditate. Addressing the students in his statement, he said, “Students are the future of India, their every work should be in the interest of the country and the society. Whatever they become in life, they should keep their aim high. Further, he also said That a person should pay as much attention to his character building as he gives to other subjects, then only the rise of India and the welfare of the world is possible. In the end, respected Principal Mr. Aditya Kumar Panda, while giving a memorandum of thanks, requested everyone to imbibe the inspirational thoughts of Swami Vivekananda and move forward in life. The entire program was beautifully coordinated by the meritorious students of the school, Divya Mishra and Anushka Raut respectively. Altogether 160 people were present.
