The poor Gurba classes do not die of hunger by calling rice and rice, so the government should provide ration to the 17 lakh green card holders who have been closed since 6 months, otherwise a massive public movement will be organized.

The above things were sent today by the Central President of Jharkhandi Information Rights Forum, Central Vice President of Adivasi Moolvasi Janadhikar Manch, Vijay Shankar Nayak, by sending a letter through email to the Chief Minister of the state, requesting him to personally intervene on this point so that Jharkhand State in futureI don’t want the poor Gurba class people to die of hunger.Mr. Nayak further said that it is a matter of sorrow and anger that the green card holders have not received ration for the last 6 months from August 2022 to January 2023, which is a question to think about. Government’s Fertilizer Supply Minister Shri Rameshwar Oraon, no positive concrete initiative has been taken in this direction till date, it is an anti-poor act which will not be tolerated. He demanded the Chief Minister of the state Mr. Hemant Soren to take positive concrete initiative in this direction as soon as possible so that poor Gurba 17 lakh green card holders can get ration at least before Holi festival.

Mr. Nayak further said that not providing ration to 17 lakh green card holders who have been stopped since six months is a gross violation of 100 percent (right to food) law which is not tolerable. It should not happen that the Simdega incident does not recur like in the past, therefore the Hemant government of the state should be serious in this direction and such a system should be started that like all card holders, green card holders can also get ration on time every month. Work should be done seriously and these 17 lakh green card holdersUnder what circumstances the ration was not given to the people, it should be investigated and the guilty officers should be identified and punished so that such inhuman act and (right to food) law can not be violated in future.
