As the small and medium newspapers published from different parts of the state are constantly suffering from government neglect, a state organization of small and medium newspapers editors ,owners,publishers of the state…Odisha Rajya Small and Medium Newspaper Mahasangha has been formed to safeguard the interest .

Mr Sudhir Patnaik , Editor Sammadrusti, magazine, eminent social worker and senior public leader of Cuttack Akshay Kumar Das, and Dr. Pabitra Mohan samantaray, Editor in chief, PARYABEKHYAK & THE KALINGA CHRONICLE joined as Honourable Guests and highlighted how small and medium newspapers are neglected and only small and medium newspapers expose the basic and real problems of the common people.

A full state committee was formed to make the organization operational and Naveen’s editor and senior journalist Ravi Rath was appointed as the state president while Sanjay Kumar Das as the general Secretary Bajram Mahapatre & Jagdish Mishra as Vice president ,Hrushikesh Mohanty & Akshay Kumar Naik, as the Organising secretary, Ramakanth parija & Nityaranjan panda as the joint secretary , Artathran Pati as the treasurer and 11 working committee members were selected.
