Warangal(KCN) : International Mathematics Day on March 14 celebrated at NIT Warangal. Awareness is created about Master's Joint Admission Test (JAM) for nearby degree colleges like LB College, Arts & Science College and Pingli College. About 200 students along with their teachers attended this program. Heads of Mathematics (Prof. H.P. Rani), Chemistry (Prof. Kashinath), Physics (Prof. Venkatappa Rao) along with the Director explained the importance of PI Day and PG courses at NIT Warangal. Prof. D. Srinivasacharya and Prof. Kashi Viswanadham gave an overview of the JAM application process. All faculty and students of NITW participated in this program. Alumni of the Institute Prof. Srinagesh, Rtd. Principal Scientist, Professor of Practice, NGRI, Hyderabad and IIT Madras delivered a lecture on “Role of Mathematics in Seismology”.
