10th Plenary of Indian Journalists Union held at Raipur
Raipur/Bhubaneswar (KCN) : The two days 10th Plenary Meeting of Indian Journalists Union from 17th & 18th, March held at Panjab Keshari Hall , Raipur, Chhatishgarh State. Seven Senior Journalists of Odisha participated from Odisha Journalists Union which is being affiliated with Indian Journalists Union, Delhi. In this Plenary Meeting, the Honorable Chief Minister of Chhatishgarh State, Sri Bhupesh Baghel attended as Chief Guest & he declared that the Chhatishgarh State has taken a historical step to pass today the Journalists protection & safety Bill for the Journalists in his Cabinet & he declared that after the signature of the Honorable Governor of Chhatishgarh State , this Bill will be implemented. He told that those Journalists are working in Naxal , Mao prone areas , sensitive places , the Government of India should pass a certain protection & safety Bill for Journalists of India. Odisha Journalists Union, president, Sashibhushan Praharaj, General Secretary K.Shrinibash Rao, Vice President Deepak Kumar Nayak & National Council Member, Sarat Chandra Behera & others Journalists participated in this Meeting.
