The Apex Body of Working Journalists Association of India celebrated its first Inaugural Ceremony Program at Buddha Temple Meeting Hall, Bhubaneswar Today. Honorable, MLA and Editor of the Sambad, Odia Daily Newspaper and Kanak TV attended as Chief Guest, Dr.Pabitra Mohan Samantray, Editor of the Paryabekhyak , Odia Daily Newspaper and The Kalinga Chronicle, English Daily Newspaper attended as Guest of Honors, Dr.Maheswar of Kalinga Media Service attended as Chief Speaker, Sanjay Das, President of Organization of Working Journalists Association of Odisha, Rajani Kanta Samantray, Chief Advisor of OUWJA attended and Maheswar Sethi, Organising Secretary of ABWJAI of India were participated as Guest of Honors. The Chief Guest, Soumya Ranjan Pattanaik, Honorable MLA narrated vividly about the role of Journalists that the Journalists have to be a special identity in the Country and they should find out the real truth fighting or coming across or passing through all hurdles, problems, obstacles and ups & down .They should not surrender before Buerocrates. They have to bring their strength , position and status in the Society by using their pen & papers as it is known to all that pen is mightier to Sword. They should not run behind cheap Propaganda. They must have to project their certain identity in the Country. They are no doubt more to all pillars of the Constitution.The eye catching of this auspicious Occasion, Dr.Pabitra Mohan Samantray, Editor of the Paryabekhyak and The Kalinga Chronicle, English Daily Newspaper told that the Journalists have to be united as they have pen & papers and why they should approach & request the Government to recognize as 4th Pillars of the Constitution as the private Driver Association of Odisha called for strike to fulfill their impossible demands, the Government of Odisha assured to fulfill their demands which are totally impossible as to satisfy them ironical. Because, the Odisha Government is not able to fulfill the Genuine Demands of Government Drivers of Odisha. He told that if the Private Driver Association is creating a pressure to the Government of Odisha, then why the Journalists are not creating a pressure to the Government to consider the Journalists as Fourth Pillars Democracy as the Journalists have pen & papers, they can expose the all irregular activities of the Government. The Journalists can alert not only the Government , but also, they can alert the entire Citizens of India..So it is the right time to unite all Journalists of India to pressure not only the Government of any State, but also to the Government of India, so that the Government of India will compell to recognize the Journalists of India as Fourth Pillars of the Constitution with due Government Notification in Government of India Notification. The Chief Speaker of this auspicious Occasion told that I have an institution to guide the Journalists of Odisha for Nation Building. Organising Secretary Maheswar Sethi gave vote of thanks. The Chief Guest, Honorable MLA & Editor of the Sambad and Kanak TV told that I have seen first time in my life that such an unique Progame with a well organized has been done by Senior Journalist Sunil Kumar Mishra and it is totally praiseworthy. More than one hundred Journalists across the India participated in this Journalists association function.
