The registrar of Maharishi Vedic University was accused of harassment
A complaint has been filed by Jyoti Jatav, assistant professor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University located in district Katni, against Arvind Singh Rajput, registrar of Maharishi University and other officials at Harijan police station – According to sources, the female employee was harassed by the university officials several times. She has been harassed by saying caste derogatory words – and there has also been a complaint of death threats – the teacher has told that since 2014 she has been holding the regular post of Assistant Professor Political Science in Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University Working as an employee – but conspiring that she was appointed only for 11 months in the year 2022, her services were terminated, while the woman has given several documents along with her complaint in which she has been given Maharishi University Government documents such as the Annual Report sent to higher education by the management and the documents given to the UGC and NAAC have shown regular employees, the surprising thing is that she was not given an appointment letter by the University Management but since her appointment, Employee Provident Fund (E.P.F)
After the complaint of the female teacher, the police and the administration are trying to cover up the matter. Her statements have been taken by calling the female teacher to the police station and her statement can also be recorded by calling the concerned officers and employees. – But so far no FIR has been registered by the police against any official of the university.
In this regard, the police say that the investigation of the matter is still going on, after the completion of the investigation, legal action will be taken against the concerned officials. The harassed female teacher is pleading with all the high officials to get her justice.
