Two Day National Seminar held on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s Untold Valuable Contribution

We must follow the path laid by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: Prof Kapil Kumar
A two-day National Seminar was organized by the Department of History, Rajdhani College, University of Delhi, in collaboration with ICHR, New Delhi at Rajdhani College. The topic of the seminar was “Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: His Valuable Untold Contribution Towards National Building”. The Inaugural Session of the seminar was presided over by Prof. Subrata Mukherjee, Department of Political Science, University of Delhi (South Campus). Professor Kapil Kumar, Former Professor of History and Director, Centre for Freedom Struggle and Diaspora Studies, IGNOU, New Delhi, in his address asserted that things related to Subhash Chandra Bose are always presented in a wrong way and in a fabricated manner. He said that Subhash Chandra Bose was a staunch nationalist, and it would be wrong to paint him in any other color. Prof. Rajesh Giri, Principal, Rajdhani College, described Subhash Chandra Bose as a hero and expressed happiness over the organizing of this seminar.
In the first technical session, Dr. Mrityunjay Kumar and Nirmal panday spoke about some important information about the documents related to Netaji, such as from which archives the documents related to them can be obtained. In the second technical session, Dr. Mumai Basu gave important information about Subhash Chandra and women empowerment. In the last technical session, Professor Sunil Tiwari gave some detailed information about Subhash Chandra Bose and his prevalence in folk literature and folk culture.
Prof Seema Bawa, eminent scholar in History of South Asian Art and Culture at Department of History, University of Delhi, presided over the Valedictory Session of the seminar. Prof Bawa drew attention to the popularity of Subhash Chandra Bose among the masses. Professor Rajesh, the Guest of Honour in the valedictory session, described Subhash Chandra Bose as an educationist. The vote of thanks was presented by Professor Suman Kumar, Department of Political Science, Rajdhani College.
Dr. Anil Kumar, the coordinator of this seminar, expressed his gratitude to all the invited speakers, paper presenters, members of the organizing committee and the student volunteers.
