The book “Veerkule veergatha ” unfolded a hidden chapter in frontier history of bygone Bengal and Odisha.

The long nourished dream of Tapan Ranjeet came true with the publication of the book under title “Veerkule Veergatha” – the harvest of a school teacher turned writer . That book launched today at the residence of the writer amid a gathering of around 60 people from different works of life , having distinct demeanor as poet, writer editor social worker and the like. From Bhograi in the district of Balasore , writers like Sreekumar , Dilip Kumar Mahana ,Suren Kumar Mohapatra connected to this ceremony and share their respective views on long literary heritage , cultural and bilingual aspects from both parts of Odisha and Bengal . Poet & Yoga Guru Sanatan Mahakud ,Biswambar Das ,reporter and social worker congratulated such initiation and tireless endeavour to bring to light the bygone history of Frontier Bengal and Orissa . Santu Jana , teacher and research oriented exponent from Da n t a n and Arindam Bhaumik , dynamic publisher and blogger connected to this symposium and shared views on respective fields of work . Pradeep Kumar Jana and Dr Priti Ranjan Maity uncovered a curtain raiser of the book that unfolded in a special meet arranged with whole- hearted hostage from the writer’s family members. The stalwarts of literature like Sukumar Misra an ex HM and editor of Bornnomala , Santosh Kar , the writer of the first ocean -centric novel written in Bengali “Muktamachh” , P a d m a l o c h a n k a r a n ,a noted story writer and novelist , Aurobindo Maity ,writer , socialworker and curator of Rajanikanta Gyan Mandir and museum , Nasir Ali an archiology hunter and teacher were in the limelight along with other dignitaries present on the dias . Doshagram High school teachers and some of students had stretched their full fletched assistance for the overall success of the programme . That sort of assembly of stars would have been impossible without the cordial cooperation and active involvement of the harbingers of creative mind like Gautam Pramanik , Ashit khatua ,Atanu Panda , Paritosh Samanta , Mani Bhushan Duari , Dr Alok nath Mishra ,Sudarshan khatua ,Pranab Kanti Bhattacharya ,Barun Kumar Das and others .
