District Collector Sikta Patnaik has directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements for people to participate in the unveiling of Ambedkar’s 125 feet statue.
On Tuesday, the collector held a meeting with the nodal officials on the arrangements for mass mobilization for the unveiling of the 125 feet statue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar in Hyderabad from the collectorate mini conference hall. Speaking on the occasion, the collector said. Br. Ambedkar Jayanti said that 300 people from the constituency should participate in the unveiling of the statue of Nava Bharata producer Bharat Ratna Ambedkar in Hyderabad on April 14. Six buses should be added to the constituency and a liaison officer in each bus should participate in the program and hand over the responsibilities until they reach the mandal centers. MPDO and Tehsildar level heads should be appointed as liaison officers. He said that breakfast, lunch, dinner and water bottles should be arranged for those who come to the program. The vehicles taken for this program should be equipped with flexi and there should be escort staff. The officials should make it a success with equal effort so that everyone can reach the program on time. In this meeting, Additional Collector Sandhyarani, DRO Vasuchandra, Parakala RDO Ramu, ZP CEO Venkateshwar Rao, DRDA PD Srinivas, DPO Jagadishwar, ACP Kiran Kumar, BC Welfare Officer Ram Reddy, SC Welfare Officer Nirma La, SC Corporation ED Madhavi Latha, RTC RM Srilatha, Tahashi Ldar Riaz, Rajkumar Tadita were present.
