Women should grow into entrepreneurs with cottage industries:

Uppal Rythu Vedika Kamalapuram Mandal, Hanmakonda District organized a training program for development of women’s livelihood & business enterprises under the auspices of Sarvodaya Youth Organization Dr Pallepadu Damodar, Secretary, as the chief guest of the program. NABARD Warangal Assistant General Manager l. Chandrasekhar participated and said that women should improve their skills in food preparation and food processing and establish cottage industries to achieve economic development. He said that under the auspices of Sarvodaya Youth Organization, 90 enthusiastic women are being trained for 15 days. He said that there is a good demand for tomato sauce, chili sauce, biscuit with chiru dhanya, meat greens etc. in the market at present.He said that marketing skills, food processing license, branding and packaging will be taught as part of the training for women. District District Lead Bank Manager M. Srinivas said that PMFM scheme will encourage women to set up cottage industries in food processing, and after training, there is a possibility of getting a loan if they approach the local bank to get a loan from the bank. Nayak, manager of local Telangana Grameen Bank, said that I am ready to help with the loans required from the bank. Dr Pallepadu Damodar said that every woman who received this training should come forward and provide livelihood. Development of women is our mission. He said that Sarvodaya is providing free computer and tailoring trainings and financial assistance to women who lost their husbands at a young age to help women’s employment. Sarvodaya staff Kaviraj, Ravinder, Akhtar, Srilatha, Tirumala, Radha, Haima and others participated in this program.
