Jaya Shankar Bhupalappalli District SP J said that the Union Ministry of Telecom has brought a new application to find out the lost cell phone and people should make use of this application. Jayashankar BhupalaPalli District SP J said that CEIR application will help a lot to recover the lost mobile. Surender Reddy said. On Monday, a training program on CEIR (CENTRAL EQUIPMENT IDENTITY REGISTER) application was conducted for the staff and officers of all police stations in the district police office. On this occasion, the SP said that the district police administration already uses various types of technical elements to find lost or lost phones, this newly introduced CEIR The application called (CENTRAL EQUIPMENT IDENTITY REGISTER) will help a lot to trace the lost or stolen phones. If the mobile phone is lost, the SP suggested to file a complaint at the concerned police station or through your service.He said that before anyone buys second hand phones, the details of that phone i.e. IMEI numbers should be entered and checked in the application so that the status of that phone will be known. CEIR (CENTRAL EQUIPMENT IDENTITY REGISTER) under the Ministry of Telecom has introduced the Central Equipment Identity Register. For this you need to log in to the website www.ceir.gov.in. It will show Request for Blocking Lost/Stolen Mobile link. Click on it and upload the lost phone numbers, IMEI numbers, company name, model, and purchased bill.The details of the complaint should be recorded in the state, district, police station where the mobile was lost and where. Finally user name address, identity card, e-mail id, another phone number for OTP should be given. After all this is completed, an ID number will be received, the relevant ID phone status can be known. Any mobile company disables the phone through CEIR process. After finding the phone, the user should go to the same website and click on the link called On Block/Found Mobile.Once the ID is entered, the phone will be unlocked. He said that they should inform the police in their jurisdiction as soon as the phone is lost, and they should make use of CEIR (CENTRAL EQUIPMENT IDENTITY REGISTER) Central Equipment Identity Register application.The SP stated that if the information is entered in the CEIR (CENTRAL EQUIPMENT IDENTITY REGISTER) Central Equipment Identity Register application, there is a possibility to find the lost mobile phone quickly.
