Durga Prasad Allada, Tech Mahindra Vice President & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) advised the technical students to practice continuously to achieve high goals. Career Planning and Development Center has achieved record breaking placements in NIT Warangal this year as the chief guest and spoke as Jyoti Prajwalana. A success meet named Akshaya was organized at Ambedkar Learning Center, NIT Warangal. NIT Warangal Director Prof. N. V. Ramana Rao was the guest and said .that the Center for Career Planning and Development (CCPD) of NIT Warangal is proud to announce the most successful placement year till date. He said that in the academic year 2022-23, a total of 1400 full-time equivalent (Full Time Employment) offers have been made to the students. This has surpassed the previous academic year (1200) and in addition more than 450 internship offers have also been made. CCPD B. Tech has achieved a placement rate of 82%.He said that 88 lakh CTC (Cost to Company) has been provided to a student this year. Appreciated that the average median CTC has also seen a huge increase over last year with an average CTC of 17 lakhs and a median CTC of 12.6 lakhs. More than 270 companies have visited the campus in the academic year 2022-23 out of which 40% are visiting the campus for the first time and reputed companies are offering single placements with lucrative packages. He said that 35 students were recruited in the drive and there was an increase in the recruitment period in almost all sectors.IT accounts for 54% of the total FTE offers from all departments and IT roles like software engineer, data scientist, data analyst are in high demand, he said.He said that the students from all the initiatives of CCPD are encouraged through training courses through cooperative programs. Courses are provided to prepare the students for interviews based on the current recruitment scenario to improve their practical domain knowledge. In addition, the departments, in collaboration with external organizations, organize programs such as CCPD communication skill-building workshops, industrial visits and internships, he said.NIT Warangal is proud to announce the fastest ever 1000 FTE offers to students in the first half of the academic year reported in December 2022. This is a historic milestone for NIT Warangal. Director, Prof. N.V. Ramana Rao said .that the students congratulated the CCPD team for their hard work and dedication to bring it to this level.
