The Lower Suktel Irrigation Project of Balangir will not provide improvement and development in the field of Irrigation, but also it will reform various fields and sectors.
[18:11, 5/25/2023] N Pabitra Sir: Few years back, Balangir District over comes Floods due to continuous heavy rains days together & how the peoples of Balangir District have come across the miserable bad days in Floods Situations and also Balangir District is facing piquant situations in Drought Situations as it is a Drought Prone District due to the lack of Irrigation facilities. But now the Odisha State Government is creating or constructing or implementing the Mega Irrigation Project that is our Lower Suktel Irrigation Mega Project at our Balangir District for Irrigation Facilities and to save the District from Drought. It is the prime duty of the entire inhabitants or Citizens of Balangir District to comeforward & to provide help & cooperation whole heartedly till the completion of the Project without any hindrances for the developments of Our Balangir District on humanity ground. This was the 1st Ultra Modern & totally Computerized Irrigation Project in India & it has been brought or adopted from the Italian County & due to the delay in completion, few same types of Irrigation Projects are also going on in different places in India speedily. Now , to complete the Lower Suktel Irrigation Project is totally depending upon the whole hearted Cooperation of the entire Balangir District Peoples for avoiding or saving us from Drought Situations, then the present target to complete the Project within March, 2024 will be fulfilled. No doubt that displacement or to leave or vacate so many years residing land or House OR Bhitamati is too difficult & painful. But for saving us from Drought and for the developments of the Balangir District, Sacrifices and dedications for the developments of our Balangir District is badly in need of. It is known to all that any constructive and positive reformation, development, change, improvement some hurdles, problems will come , but rehabilitation & resettlement is/ are a good or better or improved step or position for the Displacement Peoples of affected areas or Villagers of Project Areas. Now, the Lower Suktel Irrigation Project Department is speedily doing the Rehabilitation and Resettlement works or RR Colonies for the Displacement Peoples as well as the Project Works is also going on speedily.Going into the indepth, the sensitive and intellectual Citizens of Balangir District are requesting & appealing before the entire Balangir District Peoples for providing help and cooperation whole heartedly without any hesitation, so that the Project will be completed within March 2024 as well as the Government Machinery from the Collector, Balangir to the entire Project Staffs must have to be serious, alert , active and result oriented, so that water will reach to the Tail
