Narbheram Power & Steel company bags Kalinga Environment Excellence Award

Narbheram Power and Steel Private Ltd (NPSPL) in Tanto village of Joda block of Keonjhar district has been conferred with the prestigious Kalinga Environment Excellence Award-2022 for exemplary sustainable environmental practices in mines. Hon’ble cabinet Minister Forest,environment and climate change of Odisha Shri. Pradip Kumar Amat handed over the Trophy to Mr. Sadananda Rana, Vice President and Unit Head of Narbheram Power and Steel Private Limited, in presence of Shri Binod Kumar ,IFS(R),Shri Pankaj Kumar Satija,MD TSML, Shri Tapan Kumar Chand,President Vedanta Limited, Shri Ashok Kumar Tripathy IAS (R) former director of SAIL and GAIL,Dr K.Murugesan,IFS,member Secretary,State Pollution Control Board,Odisha,Shri Debabrata Panigrahi,MD IQEMS and other guests and dignitaries at a function held on date 17 th June in Bhubaneswar.

Receiving the award Shri Rana said, “NPSPL” always believes in sustainable mining through the implementation of innovative technologies, best safety, and environment practices.
