BSPS working committee Meeting held in Virtual Mode

An important meeting of the National Working Committee of Bharatiya Shramjeevi Patrakaar Sangh (BSPS) was held virtually under the aegis of president Sanjay Singh on Sunday. It was coordinated by national general secretary Shanawaz Hassan.
The discussion focused on Digital Media Act, Railway concession for journalists, safety related issues of journalists, Journalist Insurance Scheme and providing financial support to BSPS.
It was decided that a delegation of BSPS will be meeting Union Minister Anurag Minister regarding the amendment and implementation of Digital Media Act.
The members also decided to ensure that the Journalist Insurance Scheme is included in the manifesto of all the national political parties for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Polls.
The BSPS wing of Bihar will be hosting a one day conference in the month of July. Similarly, the BSPS Delhi NCR state wing will host a conference on 25th August while the Madhya Pradesh BSPS wing will organize it in September.
Notably, BSPS members have decided to take strict action against people promoting spreading fake news or showing half-truth of a matter.
Lifelong membership was BSPS will be valid for 20 years. The members approved to begin associate and corporate membership.
National secretary Jitendra Pandey, Shul Pani Singh, Delhi NCR state wing president Rakesh Kumar Singh, co-convenor Amit Gandhi, Shrikant Bhatia, Madhya Pradesh wing president Dr. Naveen Anand Joshi, general secretary Mahendra Sharma, Arun Saxena, Chhattisgarh state wing president Nitin Choubey, Sukhnandan Banjare, Gangesh Dwivedi, Tamil Nadu wing’s Suresh Kumar, Indrajit Singh Maggo from Punjab, national councilor Shamim Akhtar from Karnataka, and representatives from all states were present here.
