Valedictory function of the training program “Improving Logic Building Skills for Adivasi/Scheduled Tribe Students held at NIT, Warangal

The valedictory function of training “Improving Logic Building Skills for Adivasi/Scheduled Tribe Students” was conducted today evening at Bose Hall of Seminar Halls complex, NIT Warangal. 45 students from different tribal schools have participated in the training program and have learned Robotics, Cheiryal painting, English language speaking, and Yoga. This program is funded by Governor’s to train 150 students. In the first phase 45 school students were trained. Later, undergraduate students also will be trained.
Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor of Telangana, chief guest of the event, Shri Srinivas Reddy, Deputy Secretary, Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Institutions , Guest of Honour, Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director, NIT Warangal and Prof. Srihari P, Head, Department of Electrical Engineering were the guests.
Prof. J. Ravikumar along with Dr. M. Satish, the coordinators of the programme shared an overview of the training program and have shared a detailed note on how the training was handled over the last two weeks.
Shri Srinivas Reddy, Deputy Secretary, Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Institutions shared on the process of how these 45 students were shortlisted for the programme. He said in future, there would be more students participating in the program.
Students who were part of the training program expressed their happiness in attending the program and they would want to attend such training programs in the future.
Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director of NIT Warangal profoundly thanked Governor Madam for funding the program. He said he is happy that the students were given such an opportunity to learn and excel in the area of Robotics.
Her Excellency, Governor of Telangana, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan participated virtually as chief guest of the program. She expressed her happiness about students participating and learning from the training program. She also invited all the students to Rajbhavan. She advised the students to have a good sleep, eat nutritious food, respect elders, and learn every day. She said that the support for such programs will continue from the office of Rajbhavan. The vision of the prime minister, Shri Narendra Modi is to have world-class learning imbibed to students and such programs would impart great learning” she said.
Prof. Srihari Rao P, head of the department, Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
