International Conference on “Mechanical Engineering inaugurated at NIT, Warangal

Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Warangal has conducted inaugural ceremony of three-day International Conference “Mechanical Engineering: Researches and Evolutionary Challenges” this morning.
Chief guest Dr. Tata Narasinga Rao, Director, ARCI Hyderabad emphasized the need for interdisciplinary collaboration and shed light on some significant societal engineering problems that require immediate attention by the engineering community. Prof. Bidhyadhar Subudhi, Director NIT Warangal, in his speech stated that the young minds to focus on need based and product-based research that immediately delivers solutions to social concerns, which ultimately leads to nation development. He also urged the participants to focus on interdisciplinary and collaborative research.
Prof. K. Madhu Murthy, convener of the conference urged researchers to embrace the spirit of collaboration and knowledge-sharing to promote innovation and tackle the challenges collectively. As mechanical engineering had a pivotal role in shaping the modern world, he projected that developments in various domains will lead to new questions and thereby more new opportunities evolve in the field of Mechanical engineering in the future. He announced that the conference received an overwhelming response with more than 300 papers received from researchers.
Prof V. Suresh Babu, Head of Mechanical engineering department, has presented the research achievements of the department and said that for these three days, eminent academicians across the globe are invited as key note speakers to provide their view point on the key emerging areas in Mechanical engineering.
Dr.Raghavendra Gujjala, Prof. Satish Ben, Dr. Ismail syed, Dr. Ch. Sampath Kumar, Dr. Venkatesh G and Dr. Thamarai Selvan are the organizers for the conference.
