Inaugural function of the High-End Workshop under the Karyashala Scheme – A SERB

Warangal (KCN):

initiative on “Modern instruments and Techniques for Hydrodynamic and Morphologic Characterization of River Channels” was organised by Civil Engineering Department. The program is coordinated by Dr Manish Pandey. This one week program will be organised between 28 June 2023 to 04 July 2023.

Shri P V Raju, Group Director, Water Resources Group, National Remote Sensing Centre(NRSC), Chief guest of the event shared on the applications of satellite data for river health middling and monitoring. He also mentioned about importance of advance of instrumentation in this area. Prof PKS Dikshit of IIT BHU was the Guest of Honour. Prof TD Gunneswara Rao, Head, and Prof. K. V. Jayakumar Department of Civil Engineering were also present.Around 25 participants from different institutions are attending the program.
