Chartered Accountant Day was celebrated at ICAI Bhawan, Hunter Road
Chairman Ambassador Harikrishna hoisted the flag of the program and congratulated the students studying CA. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Charted Account Bill was approved by the Parliament Act on the first of July 1949. Later, it will be continued with public sector directors and 62 Central Council members through the Charted Accounts Act. He said it has 164 branches in India as well as other countries. He said that the number of people who have passed the charted account and are serving in the population of India is three and a half lakh. He said on this occasion that the demand for charted account is still increasing at such a time. He said that if you search GPT on Google, you can see it as the hottest course. As a part of this, the central government has given its stamp of approval to start a new syllabus for this education, which will start in the year 2024, he said.He said that the role of charted account in national development is significant and according to this, the governments will benefit greatly in the form of direct and indirect taxes and thus the number of these will increase day by day. He explained that there are 150 charted accounts in Warangal serving in Warangal city and with the cooperation of all of them, the Warangal branch will continue to operate in support of the head office in Delhi. At the time of completion of 75 years, CA students donated blood by organizing a blood donation camp as part of various programs organized under the auspices of Warangal branch. He said that career council programs are being organized for 9th, 10th intermediate and degree level students in government private schools. As a part of this, he said that tax clinic is being organized on 13th and 14th of this month. He explained that those two days are being organized by tax experts to give free advice and provide complete awareness to the tax payers. Apart from this, awareness programs are being conducted in government offices to clear any doubts regarding the payment of tax and help the employees.In this program, Chairman CA Ambassador Harikrishna hoisted the CA flag on the occasion of CA Day and wished CA Day to the CAs and students.
