KVS Chaturth Charan testing camp for Cubs

New Delhi(KCN):
The three days Chaturth Charan testing camp was organised for the Cubs of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Delhi Region at Kendriya Vidyalaya Andrews Ganj, New Delhi . 241 Cubs accompanied by 47 escorts from 58 Kendriya Vidyalayas (including both shifts) reported to the venue for the event.
The Camp started with the welcome of the Chief Guest K. C. Meena, Assistant Commissioner, K.VS Delhi Region by the colour party of the NCC and Scouts of KV Andrews Ganj, presentation of the Scarf (B&G) by the Cubs of the Vidyalaya followed by Green welcome by venue Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Sharma and formal inauguration with the lighting of the lamp by dignitaries, Saraswati Vandana and cultural programme. The BS&G flag was hoisted and all activities were conducted as per schedule including the flag lowering ceremony in the evening hours.
The highlight of the camp was the Grand Camp fire on the second night. Grand Camp fire holds great importance and value during the camp. Cubs came together from all four directions, offering their prayers for peace and lightning the bonfire in the middle. The Cubs participated with great zeal and enthusiasm to put up a wonderful cultural programme and their talent in the form of dance and music and they even put up a wonderful exhibition to showcase their efforts.
The little Cubs who were camping away from their homes and families were comprehensively tested during the camp. They really liked the food and comfort of KV Andrews Ganj and left for their homes happily on the third day.
