Inaugural of STUTI training Program at NIT Warangal, 16-08-2023 to 22–08-2023

NIT Warangal is organising one-week training program for the research scholars, students, and faculty from various parts of the country as part of the Synergistic Training Program Utilizing the Scientific and Technological Infrastructure (STUTI) sponsored by DST, GoI. Thirty-two (32) participants from all over India have come to learn the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Using MATLAB/Python for Engineering and Biomedical Applications. The participants will stay on the campus for one week completely during the training period.
Prof. Somasekhar VT, Dean Research and Consultancy, emphasized the importance of Artificial Intelligence stating that it is a necessary tool for every scholar in their research irrespective of their domain.
Prof. N Narasaiah, Principal Investigator, STUTI stated that this training programme on AI and Machine Learning is first of its kind held under the banner of STUTI at NITW.
Prof. PV Srilakshmi, Head of Central Research Instrumentation Facility (CRIF), NITW, emphasized the importance of the Central Research Instrumentation Facility created by NIT Warangal that is catering to the research needs not only of the different departments of the institutes but also of the research community across the country. She also stated that the diversity in participants shall expand the chances of mutual collaborations in the field of research.
Prof. Amara Prakasa Rao, Dr. Md. Farukh Hashmi, Course Coordinators; Sri. V Sudhakar, Sri. D Ravikumar and Smt. GSR Sanjeevini, Technical Officers of CRIF took care of organizing the event and all other arrangements for this one-week training program on R&D equipment.
