Independence day celebrated

Bhubaneswar (KCN) :

77th Independence Day  was celebrated with great fervour and zeal with the theme of

“Nation First, Always First” as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Swacha Bharat Abhijan at Sri Jagannath Villa. The  highlights of the celebration was honouring the friends of the society who help us to live in a clean and healthy environment.

Mr Krishana (Safai Karmachari) was the Chief Guest of the day. The lady co-workers were also guests of honour and  took part in the celebration along with

the security guard and all of them were presented with token gifts as a recognition of their service and contribution to the society. The function was attended by members of Sri Jagannath Villa, Prachivihar Development …, New

Prachivihar.. Arati residency, Rudra residency and  other dignitaries. 

The main stress was on the spirit of real freedom and independence and a clean and healthy society. 

A health awareness programme was also organised by a team of doctors and nurses following the Independence Day celebration.

More than 100 persons were examined for possibility of hypertension and diabetes and basic blood tests and advised by the doctors.

The aim of the celebration was to instill the spirit of freedom from all ills of life through conscious and disciplined lifestyle.
