Orientation Program for newly admitted UG and PG students;
Induction Program for first B.Tech students from 5th- 9th September 2023

The orientation program for newly admitted B.Tech First year, Integrated Msc, PG ( M.Tech, MSc, MCA) programs was organized today morning 09:30 at Auditorium. Students, along with their parents participated in the orientation program. Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director, NIT Warangal congratulated the students for working hard and obtaining their admission with NIT Warangal. He said he is happy to note that almost all the students who opted for NIT Warangal have taken admission. Later the Deans, Heads of Departments and centers addressed the students. After lunch, students were taken to central facilities like library, computer center, workshops, Institute Health Center and Physical Education Department. Later, the students visited respective departments, labs. The event was coordinated by Prof. Sarath Babu, Dean Academic and the academic section.
Prof. D.Srinvasacharya, Dean Student welfare said that there will be a one week induction program organized from 5th September to 9th September. This programme to acclimatize and expose incoming students to campus facilities, allowing them to fully utilize them. It is mandatory for all the incoming first year B.Tech students to attend this program said Dean Student Welfare. There will be day long activities conducted over these five days. There will be expert lectures conducted on Art of Mind Control, Art of Smart Work (Time management), Stress management. Further, the Warangal Police Commissioner has consented to address the students on the topic “Laws related to Anti Ragging and Use of Narcotics” on 8th Sept 2023, said Dean student welfare.
