Subarnapur Zilla Parishad Meeting Was Held. SUBARNAPUR,–

 Today Subarnapur district council meeting has been held under the chairmanship of Zilla Parishad president Ms. Supara Thela. In the meeting held at Collectorate Confrence hall, Hon’ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Parliamentary Affairs, Odisha Mr. Niranjan Pujari, Collector and Chief Executive Zilla Parishad Mr. Bimalendu Roy, Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Zilla Parishad Mr. Aswini Kumar Meher, Zilla Parishad Vice President Mr. Jasaketan Baghar, All Zilla Parishad Members, All Block Chairpersons/Heads, District Officers, Majors were present and participated in the discussion. Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Zilla Parishad Subarnapur Mr.Aswini Kumar Meher welcomed all the members of the council present in the meeting, the block chairman, the district level officer, and then with the permission of the chairman in the meeting held on 24/5/23. The Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer presented the details to answer the various departmental questions and to strengthen the decisions taken by the Chief Development Officer and the Executive Officer. The Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Niranjan Pujari in his speech has called on everyone to work harmoniously to bring success to the people at the grassroots level with every Janmangal program at the grassroots level and to participate in the development of the district. Minutes of the Zilla Parishad Meeting held on24/ 5/23 have been presented to the House for approval and accordingly the projects proposed by the Fifteenth Central Finance Commission and the Fifth State Finance Commission for the District Panchayat Development Plan for the financial year 2023-24 have been presented to the House for approval. On the occasion, concern was expressed in the House over the unsatisfactory performance of the Binika, Dunguripali Mega Pipeline Project implemented by the District Rural Water and Sanitation Department. Honorable Minister Mr. Pujari emphasized in the house to check the correctness, clarity and quality of the work project. In the meeting, the functioning of the electricity department was discussed, while the status and progress of the construction of the under-construction buildings and roads and poles by the PWD department, RD department and The new proposed project was discussed through the District Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department. The meeting highlighted. Social afforestation by Divisional Forest department, plantation of roadside trees and departmental measures for protection from wild animals with the help of erosion damage by wild animals were discussed l Re-irrigation department, mega lift irrigation, OLIC, district education department Special discussions were held on teacher recruitment and divisional issues, progress of various projects implemented by the Health Department, proper implementation of Lok Yojana in other departments of the district, status, location of various projects under implementation and newly proposed rural housing projects by the Zilla Parishad . Plans, MGNREGS, Swachha Bharat Mission and 5th Central Finance Commission and 5th State Finance Commission presented data in the CDO meeting in the meeting. In the meeting, the members put necessary questions to the departmental officials on the projects being implemented in their respective areas.
