Collector Walked to Acquaint Village Problems

Collector Gajapati Smrutiranjan Pradhan attended joint grievances at Lailai panchayat of Rayagada block. Meanwhile he had been informed on various problems of Jhaliasahi village of that panchayat. After grievances he walked 2 kms to reach that village. He found disrupted communication & informed line department staff ro take up construction of regular road. Villagers applauded such endeavor of Collector to visit their village. Gandahati, SKaradasing,Jirango & Laxmipur including Lailai panchayats grievances received.On joint grievances out of 123,93 individuals & 30 community level grievances presented. Among them 32 grievances settled at spot.2 beneficiaries received each ₹5000 from CMRelief fund. Among those grievances housing,social security, MGNREGA, education, tele communication, opening of 5 schools & primary health cetre at Lailai village.Besides that among those demands; responsibility & monitoring part of Mahendragiri entrance gate of Mahendragiri at Burukhata, to be given to Madaba villagers discussed.During grievances 12 beneficiaries were given forest land patta. Collector instructed those grievances to be immediately sorted out to line department officials. In grievances Chairperson Purnabasi Nayak,Vice Chairman Jyoti Prasad Pani,BDO Sudhir Kumar Sungh, Tehsildar Lilabati Acharya of Rayagada block & other officials were present.
