Swachhata Hi Seva campaign Launched

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign launched by the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, NIT Warangal participated in the national wide campaign “Ek Tareekh – Ek Ghanta” organised today morning 10 AM. Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director, of NIT Warangal thanked all the volunteers to have come forward to spread the message of cleanliness. A rally was held around the campus by the Faculty, staff, and students. Later cleaning drive was performed near the staff quarters of the campus. Plantation drive was also conducted. Around 200 volunteers participated in the drive. Prof. Prakash Kodali, Faculty Advisor, National Service Scheme Coordinated the event.As part of the campaign, NIT Warangal organised cleaning drives in the hostels, departments and common areas over the last four days. Prof. D. Srinivasacharya, Dean Student Welfare, Heads of the Departments and other Committee members coordinated the events.
