NIT Warangal to celebrate its 65th Foundation Day on 10th October 2023 Dr. Komal Kapoor, Chairman and Chief Executive of Nuclear Fuel Complex to be the chief guest.

National Institute of Technology Warangal will be celebrating its 65th Institute Foundation Day on 10th October 2023. National Institute of Technology, Warangal, formerly known as Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 31 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country.
Dr. Komal Kapoor, Chairman and Chief Executive, Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr Kapoor was instrumental in manufacture and supply of a variety of seamless tubes for the strategic applications of department of atomic energy and of the departments of space and defence.
