Soundarya Educational Trust hosted cultural exchange programme with Swedish Nordic Jazz Band

Soundarya Centralz School, One of the leading schools in North Bangalore, a part of Soundarya Educational trust hosted a cultural exchange programme on 9th October 2023 SCS . Students were fortunate to witness the exhilarating performance of Swedish Nordic Jazz band along with the presence of Sri V Sreenivas Murthy (Sirigandha Sreenivas Murthy) a documentary filmmaker and Visual-Anthropologist from Karnataka . . The eminent guests were honoured by SCS Managing Director Mrs Sunitha P Manjappa, CEO Mr Keerthan Kumar, Managing Trustee Mr Varun Kumar and Principal Mrs Renuka Devi.
Terese Lien Evenstad together with pianist Fabian Kallerdahl, bassist Arvid Jullander, drummer Johan Birgenius, and clarinetist Alexander Ivarsson, mesmerised the students with expressive violin jazz as a signature and her band delivered powerful and sensitive Nordic jazz, with great energy and dynamics. The band appreciated the talents of students who got an opportunity to play drums in their presence. The keyboard performance by a student had received innumerable appreciation. The guests were welcomed with a bharatanatyam performance which caught the attention of the gathering and the Swedish Band. Soundarya Central School ,has excelled in imparting quality education and has been inviting delegates from different parts of the world such as The Netherlands, Bhutan etc . The event has become a testimonial for interlinking different cultures and uplifting the beauty of music and talents. The event concluded with the productive interaction of students with the Swedish Nordic Jass Band.
