NIT Warangal participates in Meri Maatti Meri Desh Campaign
Warangal (KCN):
As part of Meri Maati Meri Desh campaign of Ministry of Education, National Service Scheme (NSS) and Ek Bharath Shrest Bharat (EBSB) of NIT Warangal have organized couple of events.
In the first event, 75 local plants were planted near the rural development center by Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director, NIT Warangal, Prof. D.Srinivasacharya, Dean Student Welfare, Prof. Prakash Kodali, Faculty advisor, NSS, faculty and students have participated in the event. This area where the plantation drive was conducted is names as Amrit Vatika. At the same time, plantation drive was organized at different locations of the campus. This event is called Amrith Vatika.
Later, Mitti and rice were collected in pots and a pledge was taken by Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Dirtector, NIT Warangal, Deans, faculty, and students. The rice and Mitti collected will be sent to national capital. This event is organized as India celebrates Azadi ka Mahotsav. This initiative encapsulates India’s rich history, culture, and the sacrifices of its heroes while paving the way for a brighter future
