Glowing Tribute Paid to Late Basanti Biswal

Bhubaneswar/Berhampur, Dt:05.11.: Glowing Tribute was paid to Late Basanti Biswal on the twelfth day of her sad demise. A Condolence meeting was organised at Sahid Laxman Nayak Community Hall in Hill Patna of Berhampur, to mark the solemn occasion. Addressing the bereaved gathering distinguished dignitaries recounted several aspects of Late Basanti Biswal’s ideal life and prayed Lord Jagannath to rest her immortal soul in permanent peace. Smt Biswal expired on 22nd October 2023 at the age of 66. Her last rites were performed on the same day at Swarga Dwara in Puri with the presence of family members. Late Smt Biswal has left behind her husband former Works Engineer of OSRTC, Er. Meenaketan Biswal, Elder Son Manchester based Secretary General of World Odisha Society Siba Ranjan Biswal, Younger Son Young Entrepreneur Siba Kumar Biswal, Daughter Smita Behera, Son –in-law Engineer Saroj Behera, Two Daughters – in – Law Puja Khandual and Arati Biswal and Grand Sons and Daughters like Sneha, Guddu, Litchi,Chiku, Shradhaa and Sai.

Late Basanti Biswal was an unique person having manifold qualities and perfect etiquettes. At a stretch,She was a religious, pious, generous, gentle, simple, soft spoken, affectionate, amiable and a complete human being. Smt Biswal was born at Netenga village in Bhanjanagar on 21st September 1957. Her parents were Late Sushama Nayak and Late Abhimanyu Nayak. They were six sisters namely present MLA of Aska Manjula Swain, Sanjukta Patra, Lily Jena, Bishnupriya Nayak, Bhagyalata Rout and Lone brother Late Santosh Nayak. She got married to Engineer Meenaketan Biswal on 3rd March 1976, the eldest son of the inhabitant of Baragan in Aska Late Krushna Chandra Biswal and Late Satyabhama Biswal. She had two brothers – in – Law like Uday Nath Biswal and Bipin Bihari Biswal and five sisters – in – Law namely Sashi Debi Swain, Usharani Bisoyi, Nishamani Nayak, Indira Nayak and Kalyani Behera.

A highly religious person, Late Basanti Biswal along with her husband were prime disciples of Renowned Spiritual Guru and Founder of Sudharma Mahasangha at Bahadalpur in Jajpur district revered Saint Madhab Baba.

A Satsang by Sudharama Mahasangha was also hosted by family to invoke the blessing of Almighty for ensuring heavenly abode of Late Basanti Biswal’s eternal soul.
