KAIVLYA SAHITYA SANSAD ORGANIZED: OUR ENVIRONMENT AND LITERARY CULTURE WORKSHOP

Our Environment and Literary Culture workshop has been held at Bakharabagh Gandhi Bhawan on behalf of KAIVALYA SAHITYA SANSAD , Cuttack. A large number of poets, poetess and social workers from different districts of Odisha participated. Poetry reciting and state level discussion were held. An awareness poem titled on Our Environment and Our Literary Culture was recited. The guests gave thoughtful comments on environment and protection of Sanskrit in folk literature. In the said event, the Chief Guest Professor Dr. Braj Sundar Mishra, of Utkal University has attended and explained in simple terms that a balanced environment is the shield of culture .The Chief speaker, Prof. Dr. Kalikinkar Pattanaik, opined that literature is the guide of environment and culture. Prof. Dr. Surekha Sundari Swain was the guest of honour.

Zonal Head, Kaling TV, Cuttack, Mrs. Sagarika Jena, Yoga Guru, Dr. Niroj Kumar Pothal (Socialist) Tulsichaura, Baripada, Mayurbhanj, Poet Satyabrat Puhan, President, Artist Odisha, Jajpur were honored as Odisha Environmental and Cultural Talents for life long contribution in their field of work . In the opening music, Odissi Dancer Nillpavan Sahu (Poopi) Badchana, Chandikhol, Jajpur performed a beautiful dance. In the programme . patriotic song was sung along with environment and culture related art performances by the more than fifty students and then the Odisha Environment and Culture Talent Awards were presented. Hundreds of social workers were honored for their services towards environment and culture of Odisha. Hundreds of poets and poetess were honored for the environment and culture of Odisha. The program was moderated by Dr. Swagatika Sahu, Dr. Rashmi Kar and smt.Survi Dwivedi. Poet Subbhrata Mahapatra, Jana Ranjan Pradhan, Bhagwati Khatua, Gagan Pradhan, Itishree Pati, Chabiram Sethi, Surendra Mahapatra, Ashutosh Deviprasad Raut, Jayanthi Ojha, Utkalini Raut, Bimal Das, Sukanti Mohanty, Himanshu Bhushan Jena, Hemant Kumar Sahu were present till the end stayed and cooperated.
