Konark Festival 2023 Dazzles with a Symphony of Dance and Music
Bhubaneswar ,(KCN): The Konark Dance and Music Festival 2023 commenced with a breathtaking inauguration, setting the stage for an enchanting showcase of Odissi classical dance and Bharat Natyam by world-renowned artists.
A constellation of dignitaries, including State Tourism Minister Ashwini Kumar Patra and Sports Minister Tusharkanti Behera, graced the event, elevating the grandeur of the opening ceremony. The brilliance of Odissi maestro Jyotsnarani Sahu lit up the night, paying homage to Shri Jagannath and Aditya Narayan through captivating traditional dance performances.
Day one featured not only the mesmerizing Odissi dancer Guru Jyotsnarani Sahu but also a visual art extravaganza by Praveen Kumar and Bengaluru’s Chitrakala School of Dance, creating a visual symphony under the open sky.
The 34th edition of the Konark Dance and Music Festival promises a global spectacle, with renowned classical dancers transforming it into a cultural magnet. Odisha’s rich heritage takes center stage, contributing proudly to India’s cultural tourism.
